Indiana State Police has been asked to assist with an investigation into a deadly police shooting in northern Indiana. According to a release from ISP, around 10:48 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 23, officers with the Rochester Police Department and Fulton County Sheriff's Office responded to a residence on a report of a domestic disturbance involving a firearm. When officers arrived on scene, they found a Rochester man, 37-year-old Steven T. Harding, inside the residence. Police say he was armed with a firearm and was pointing it in the direction of an officer. That's when both an officer and a deputy fired their weapons at least once, fatally injuring Harding.
