There's a new push to reimagine how kids in central Indiana grow and learn at school, using a real-time, data-driven approach. It's a partnership that began here in 2021 with Marian University, Boston College and the city of Indianapolis. It uses information about students' needs and wants to create targeted support both in school and at home. Here's how it works: Say a student is interested in robotics. That student can be partnered with a City Connects coordinator to find afterschool programs in their area. It also connects families with academic, financial and mental health needs.
