Description
A suspect is facing several preliminary charges after police discovered four pounds of meth and a stolen gun following a police chase through Fishers over the weekend.
The Hamilton County Sheriff's Office said a deputy was attempting to conduct a traffic stop on Interstate 69 when the driver refused to stop and led police on a chase through the city.
Eventually, the suspect's car got stuck in a ditch. The suspect got out of the car and ran into an apartment complex, where police caught him.
Deputies and Fishers Police Department officers took the suspect into custody "without incident," the sheriff's office said.
Inside the car, police found four pounds of methamphetamine, 136 grams of cocaine, a stolen gun and "small amount of marijuana," police said.
