A 25-year-old Lawrence County sheriff's deputy died in a motorcycle crash Saturday night in Greene County, southwest of Bloomington. Just after 11 p.m. July 27, Greene County sheriff's deputies responded to a report of a motorcycle crash on East State Road 445, near Interstate 69. According to the sheriff's department, the motorcyclist went off the road for an unknown reason. When deputies arrived on scene, the man was taken to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The Greene County Sheriff's Department identified the motorcyclist as Brenten Trueblood, of Bedford.
