Description
Delaware County emergency management officials reported that early indications suggest up to 50% of the structures in the town of Selma were damaged by the storm Thursday night.
"I saw it form, basically over my neighbor's house just two doors down, then it just dropped. We barely had time to get in the house, then as soon as we got in the hallway, one of our fence panels went through our sliding glass door and the whole door just exploded," one woman told 13News Thursday night.
One person was reportedly transported to the hospital for treatment and other minor injuries were reported, Delaware County EMA reported.
Authorities have begun removing debris caused by the storm and assessing the damage in Selma.
