They may say breakfast is the most important meal of the day — but in Louisiana, lunch could soon become the healthiest. On Friday morning, Governor Jeff Landry, joined by Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr., signed two new health-related bills into law.
Both measures are part of what the two officials call the "Make America Healthy Again" or MAHA movement. The first bill aims to eliminate harmful dyes and additives from school lunches. It passed the state legislature without a single opposing vote.
