This hurricane season, St. Tammany Parish officials say they’re beginning with the end in mind.
“Here in Southeast Louisiana, we have a lot of great seasons, snowball season, crawfish season, and then there’s hurricane season that’s on the other side of the spectrum,” St. Tammany Parish representative Michael Vinsanau said.
Twenty years after Hurricane Katrina ravaged parts of the region, law enforcement, emergency management, and parish leaders are outlining their plans for 2025.
