America's favorite serial killer Dexter Morgan (Michael C. Hall) faked his own death at the end of the eight-season run of "Dexter" and then seemed to be dead after being shot by his own son, Harrison Morgan (Jack Alcott), at the end of "Dexter: New Blood." But the antihero protagonist is back in "Dexter: Resurrection." "I have a lot of gratitude for the fact that this character in this show has generated such enthusiasm and long-lasting enthusiasm from fans," said seven-time Emmy nominee and Golden Globe winner Hall ("Six Feet Under," "Game Night"). "This new season finds Dexter, with a real second chance at life, a chance to reclaim his identity and more sort of decisively define who he is and who he isn't."
