Description
An investigation is underway after two people were found shot to death on Indianapolis' north side Sunday morning.
According to IMPD, just before 8 a.m. June 29, officers responded to a report of a death investigation to the 4300 block of Cornelius Avenue, near West 43rd Street and North Meridian Street.
When officers arrived, they found two men who had been shot. Medics arrived, and unfortunately, both of the victims were pronounced dead at the scene.
The Marion County Coroner’s Office (MCCO) is working to determine the exact manner and cause of death. The MCCO will release the victim's names once a next-of-kin has been notified.
