Description
Forty-eight hours after strong storms hit central Indiana, just under 9,000 people are still without power and are now bracing for an intense heat wave this weekend.
AES said power crews have resorted service to 90% of customers, with power expected to be back on for all customers by midday Sunday.
With forecasted highs in the mid-90s and heat indexes surpassing 100 degrees, neighbors on Indy's east side say they are doing what they can to stay cool.
