An Indianapolis man is charged with attempted rape, sexual battery, burglary, theft and criminal confinement after a home invasion in Fishers. Elijah Oates, 25, of Indianapolis, was arrested on June 12, after he allegedly attacked a woman in her home in the 16200 block of Brookmere Avenue, near 126th Street and Cyntheanne Road, on the far eastern side of Fishers. The other suspect, 24-year-old Daquez Stockdale, of Indianapolis, is charged with burglary, criminal confinement and theft. Police arrived at the home shortly before 6:30 that morning, when a woman told them two men in masks had attacked her and tried to sexually assault her.
