Description
A baby deer was rescued after it was found stuck in a storm drain in Pasco County.
Firefighters arrived on the scene after receiving a call that the animal was trapped. The crew carefully extracted the distressed deer and was able to reunite the baby with its mother, who was waiting anxiously nearby, according to a news release.
The firefighters also gave the baby the name Storm inspired by the rescue.
"The tiny fawn is now an honorary member of the station, leaving behind a memorable "Disney moment" for the first responders," the release stated.
Picture from officials show Storm who looks like Disney's "Bambi," lying down in the storm drain after it fell in while the mother was nearby waiting. Luckily, the deer was just fine, and one firefighter was even able to snap a picture holding Storm.
