Description
The Tampa Police Department is searching for a man who they say robbed a Synovus Bank on Tuesday morning.
Just before 9:30 a.m., police say the man entered the bank on W. Neptune Street wearing multiple layers of clothing, including a dark-colored hoodie, jeans and gloves with a white bandana and sunglasses covering his face.
He approached the teller "implying he was armed," although authorities say no weapon was seen. He reportedly demanded money before leaving with the cash.
Police say the suspect was last seen leaving the area on an e-bike, possibly heading northbound.

An investigation is ongoing.
