He’s become a local legend in Seminole, lounging in the waters behind a neighborhood bar and charming guests one glimpse at a time. But now, “Mr. Pickles,” a four-foot alligator with a cult following at Five Bucks Drinkery, might be in trouble. It all started after a series of hurricanes blew through the area. In the aftermath, the gator found his way to a canal behind the bar and never left. “Look at him! Hey Pickles, how you doing?” regular John Heintz said, lighting up at the sight of the now-famous reptile. “That’s our little friend over there, Pickles.” Heintz isn’t alone.
