Description
Metro Police are investigating after a Indianapolis woman says she and her kids were racially harassed and her car was vandalized at a gas station on the far north side.
RaKita Spears-Easter tells 13News she stopped at the Meijer gas station on 96th Street Wednesday afternoon to get gas and a snack for her kids. When she pulled up to the pump, she says two white men in a utility vehicle on the other side of the pump immediately starting making comments.
"When I got out of my car, they threw out some racial slurs directed towards me," Spears-Easter said. "Never acknowledged them, didn't pay too much attention."
