Description
In 2014 and 2016, Seth Rogen and Rose Byrne portrayed a married couple in the "Neighbors" films as they try to shut down a fraternity and sorority, respectively, moving in next door.
Rogen and Byrne are now playing best friends in "Platonic," reconnecting after years apart to help each other through life's tribulations in relationships, work and more.
"They just have such amazing chemistry, and it's a kind of chemistry that's really hard to find between actors, and they kind of felt it, we all felt it in (the 'Neighbors') movies," said co-creator Nicholas Stoller, who directed both "Neighbors" films. "What was exciting about 'Platonic' was I knew that they would be able to finally fight with each other and get into really brutal fights in the way that you don't really want to see a married couple do that."
New episodes of "Platonic" are released Wednesdays through Oct. 1 on Apple TV+.
