Police are investigating after a shooting on Indianapolis' near east side early Saturday morning. According to IMPD, around 12:30 a.m. Aug. 2, officers responded to a report of a person shot in the 900 block of North Tuxedo Street, near 10th Street and North Sherman Drive. When officers arrived, they found a person shot. The person is reported to be "awake and breathing," police said. This was one of three shooting incidents investigated by IMPD within less than an hour.
