An Indianapolis man will spend the next three decades in federal prison after pleading guilty to multiple robbery charges stemming from a 2023 crime spree.
Javonte Smith, 34, was sentenced Thursday, July 31 to 30 years in federal prison, followed by three years of supervised release.
Court documents say between Nov. 21 and Dec. 2, 2023, Smith robbed six different Indianapolis businesses while armed with a gun, stealing a total of $14,797 in cash.
