Description
Twin brothers Jonathan Scott and Drew Scott are best known for their reality TV series, "Property Brothers," co-hosting more than 170 episodes across seven seasons and helping families find, buy and transform fixer-upper homes into their dream homes.
In their newest reality show, "Chasing the West," Jonathan and Drew are using their background of growing up on a horse ranch to help teach prospective buyers what life on a ranch is all about.
"It's so fun because we have a lot of people who want to escape the chaos of the city, and they want to go live that ranch lifestyle. They have no idea what that means, and they have no idea how much work it takes," Jonathan said. "You see people who we all of a sudden show these ranch properties, and they dive in, and then, they're way over their heads."
"It's sort of a reality check because the affordability factor in the city, it's so tough to afford what you need for your family, but people don't realize the amount of work that it takes out on a ranch property, too," Drew said. "It is beautiful, but it takes work, so we're a part of that reality check."
New episodes of "Chasing the West" air Wednesdays at 9 p.m. ET on HGTV and are available to stream the next day on HBO Max.
