Description
Indianapolis Public Schools (IPS) just received a major grant from the Eli Lilly and Company Foundation to help increase STEM readiness among students.
The $5.5 million grant will help fund Destination 2032.
The goal is to increase the percentage of IPS graduates who are “STEM-ready” by 2032. Students are considered STEM-ready if they have earned STEM college credit, earned an industry credential, completed a STEM-related career pathway, completed a STEM high school fellowship, or completed a high-quality STEM work-based learning experience, school officials said.
