Louisiana Attorney General Liz Murrill is calling out Mayor LaToya Cantrell, accusing her of faking an emergency to award a no-bid trash contract in the French Quarter. In a new court filing, Murrill says the mayor bypassed the rules to get what she wanted — and that the original contractor, IV Waste, should still be in charge.
