Sean “Diddy” Combs is set to be sentenced Friday, Oct. 3 in New York City after his conviction on prostitution-related charges. Prosecutors are seeking 11 years in prison. Combs, who has been jailed since July, was convicted of violating the Mann Act for arranging male sex workers to travel across state lines for encounters with his girlfriends. Each count carries a maximum penalty of 10 years. He was acquitted on racketeering conspiracy and sex trafficking charges that could have led to life in prison.
