Description
There's a scientific reason autumn skies appear more blue - and it has to do with the way blue light scatters in the air! Fall is a less humid season with fewer pollutants in the air, so blue light can scatter more efficiently through the air molecules. Since the sun is lower in the sky, the light can scatter more over a longer path. Longer path + fewer obstacles = perfect fall backdrops!
