A man stabbed two people near Northwest 18th Avenue and Northwest Johnson Street around 9 a.m. on Wednesday, Portland police said. Both people were taken to the hospital, and one of them had "serious injuries," according to Portland police spokesperson Mike Benner. At one point, the suspect went outside with his hands up and started walking towards police, but he went back inside, Benner said.
