Description
A mom's struggle is on full display in A24's "If I Had Legs I'd Kick You."
With her life crumbling around her, Linda (Rose Byrne) is at a breaking point by juggling too many things at once, including her child's mysterious illness, her absent husband (Christian Slater), a missing person and a hostile relationship with her therapist (Conan O'Brien).
"The film examines a tension that is sort of extraordinary and a crisis that unfolds in front us from huge grievances to tiny grievances," said Byrne ("Bridesmaids," "Neighbors").
"If I Had Legs I'd Kick You" is Mary Bronstein's second film, having previously directed and written "Yeast," released in 2008.
"If I Had Legs I'd Kick You" opens in theaters Friday, Oct. 10.
