Description
Right now, there's a new collaborative effort here in Indianapolis to help address youth gun violence.
Several groups are now partnering with the city and national organizations to really focus on teens and children under the age of 18.
It's called the Youth Violence Reduction Initiative, which launched in September.
"What we're trying to do is take that targeted population that has been identified through different means to say, 'OK, let's wrap our arms around them now, and let's see what that looks like from the top down as we work with the families," said Kia Wright, co-founder of VOICES Corp.
