Description
The U.S. Department of Education has cut money for a program that was helping thousands of students across Indiana. Kathryn Reckard, assistant superintendent for Lafayette School Corporation, told 13News that Sept. 30 would be the last day the district would receive funding for their GEAR UP grant program. The initiative was run through Purdue University as a prep program.
