Police in Cumberland are investigating following a shooting Sunday evening that killed a man. According to a release from the Cumberland Police Department, around 7 p.m. on Sept. 28, officers were called to the 11000 block of Dunshire Drive, near East Washington Street and North German Church Road, on a report of a disturbance with a weapon. When officers arrived, they say they found a man suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. He was taken to an Indianapolis hospital in critical condition, where he later died, police said.
