Description
Judy Greer has been in more than 150 movies and TV shows, including "27 Dresses," "13 Going on 30," "Kidding" and "Jurassic World."
She's now starring in "The Long Walk," an adaptation of Stephen King's first-written book.
"The heart of it is a hopeful story. It's a beautiful story. It's about connection and friendship," Greer said. "It's a small look at kind of the journey of life, and I think that's what makes it really special is that there is hope. I think we all could use it."
The story is set in a dystopian version of America where 50 teenage boys are chosen to participate in an annual event known as "The Long Walk." If they fall behind, they are killed. The event ends when there is only one walker left, who then gets a cash prize and one wish fulfilled.
"The Long Walk" is now in theaters.
