Last year, Fishers knocked off crosstown rival Hamilton Southeastern not once, but twice during the IHSAA football season. The first came during the annual "Mudsock" game between the two schools in which the then-unranked Fishers Tigers stunned the then-No. 5 Hamilton Southeastern Royals with a 37-35 victory. The Tigers then followed that up with another narrow victory over the Royals in the sectional championship game. Now, on the heels of their 3-0 start to the season, Hamilton Southeastern is determined not to allow history to repeat itself.
