Description
Every Labor Day, the Anderson community celebrates workers with a picnic, and this year, the United Automobile, Aerospace and Agricultural Implement Workers of America teamed up with the American Federation of Teachers.
Teacher Randy Harrison said it's the day to take a stand for workers' rights.
"We're here together because education, labor, when those things are appreciated and raised up and supported, then America flourishes. You have a middle class that flourishes. You have an economy that works for all," Harrison said.
