According to court documents, four Hamilton County teens charged in a shooting during a Carmel robbery planned the crime with text messages during school. The 17-year-old suspects are Beau Shanley, of Carmel; Malachi Hoffman, of Carmel; Dalen Peden, of Carmel; and Jalen Peden, of Westfield. A fifth suspect is 14 years old and has not been identified by police.
