Description
All lanes of southbound Interstate 25 are back open near 20th Avenue after a construction mishap, which resulted in a large piece of construction equipment blocking four lanes for most of Wednesday morning.
According to CDOT spokeswoman Tamara Rollison, the equipment, known as a shuttle buggy, is used to transfer hot mixed asphalt. It fell from a flatbed truck and landed on its side around 4:30 a.m. Wednesday in a coned-off work zone as contract crews were removing the equipment following overnight resurfacing work on the highway.
