Aurora Police Chief Todd Chamberlain held a news conference Tuesday afternoon about a police shooting that killed a man Saturday.
Rajon Belt-Stubblefield, 37, was shot and killed by an Aurora police officer in the area of East Sixth Avenue and Billings Street.
The police department said Saturday that an officer saw someone make a traffic violation and attempted to stop him. The police department said the man crashed his vehicle into two other cars, then refused to listen to the officer's commands. The police chief said the man tossed a gun from his car and while squaring up with the officer, was asking others to get it for him.
