Interstate 70 has reopened after a hazmat situation closed both directions of the highway and adjacent U.S. 40 Wednesday morning. Just before 8 a.m. Wednesday, the Colorado State Patrol responded to I-70 at milepost 258, near the Morrison exit, for a commercial motor vehicle fire, the agency said. There was no crash and no injuries reported, but the vehicle was leaking hydrochloric acid, CSP said.
