A man who stole an Aurora police car while officers investigated a burglary Tuesday morning was taken into custody following a chase through multiple jurisdictions. The call originated at about 8:30 a.m. as a burglary in the 700 block of South Oswego Street, according to the Aurora Police Department (APD). While officers were on scene, a man got into a patrol vehicle and drove away, police said.
