and it was all caught on tape.
the melee happened in sarasota... when a group of people began arguing with a referee-- just before half-time.

things quickly got out of control... after a player tackled the official.
one of the adults in the melee even tried kicking the referee in the head.
thankfully... the referee was not seriously hurt.
