Description
Multi-month time-lapse from the 5,250' summit of Albert Mountain in the Southern Appalachian mountains. I captured this using a custom built, solar-powered D-SLR rig that was mounted to the top of an out of commission USFS fire lookout tower in Nantahala National Forest, North Carolina along the Appalachian Trail. The sequence begins with the fall foliage change and comes to an end with a sunset / moonset / starscape / sunrise holy grail.
